Getting better....

Things here are definately looking brighter than they had been....Dad's stuff has been moved out of our garage and is now helping several other families in the area. It was ironic how the day the people came to get Dad's stuff the message in church (we had gone for Scout Sunday) was it's not what you say but what you do that shows that you are a Christian. We used this as a lesson to the boys about helping others is more important sometimes than what you say.

Valentine's Day was nice....the weekend before we were at Costco and the boys picked out a bouquet of carnations and a bowl of tulip bulbs....it's been fun this week to watch the tulips grow and bloom. They also got me a new pair of pjs (LOVE pjs!) and a gift card to Kohls. Dave and I were actually able to go out alone on Valentine's Day without having to pay a sitter....Alex was at his grandparents' and Evan was at a friends for a sleepover! What a treat that was......

We've had a busy and productive long weekend (boys have been off since Thursday....go back on Tuesday). Dave arranged things in the garage so he has a little workshop and bought himself a new tool...claiming he needed it for the Pinewood Derby cars! I got all the laundry done...so much that I ran out of hangers! Today...Dave bought me a new computer for my scraproom....a desktop (REALLY FAST ONE!) with a flat panel monitor!!! OMG....it's amazing!!!

Today I am so thankful for my family....they are so supportive and uplifting when I really need them!!!
