Go go go go......

That is how I feel life is going right now!!!! LOL!!! Sooo much to do and so little time to do it in!!! Alex is finally back to school...YEAH!!!! But, I still don't seem to have any more time on my hands!!!

Been busy scrappin' for my friend...and getting gifts done.

Here's one I did get done...giving these to the gals in the family. This was my first attempt...not too bad!!! Thank goodness for flowers to cover up goofs!

Dave turns 40 tomorrow....amazing that we have been together for almost 20 years! That's 1/2 of his life....we met when he was 20 and I was 17. His birthday present, a hot tub, was delivered today....unfortunately because it's sooo dang cold outside it wasn't warm enough tonight to go in it.

Friday night we are meeting our good friends from England in San Francisco for a night on the town....it's been a long time since we have gotten to go out with them without kids!!! Then it's on to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Dick's 50th anniversary party on Saturday night. What wonderful role models for us...not too many people make it 50 years!

Now to get cards, calendars, blankets, scarves done........

Counting my blessings

Thanksgiving....time to count our blessings and think hard about what we are thankful for. While we should be thinking about these things daily, seems we think more about them this time of year.

My friend AnneMarie from The Shaker Box challenged everyone to post what they are thankful for/list their blessings in life. I pass that challenge on to all of you who read this.....WHAT are you thankful for????

What am I thankful for:
**two HEALTHY, smart, beautiful boys who treat their mom like all mom's should be treated!
**a WONDERFUL hubby who supports me in everything I do!
**the chance this year to stay home and work only part time....I am loving it!
**friends, near and far, who are always there to laugh with, cry with or just chat with
**my AMAZING mother-in-law who is a constant support for me and a BLAST to travel with
**my brother and the rest of our family
**PAPER...yep, beautiful, wonderful paper to create with!!!!!

There are many other things I am thankful for.....too many to list!

Where does time go???

With the blink of an eye.....summer is gone, and the holiday season is right around the corner! So many things to do, so little time.....seems as though I am busier than ever when I am NOT working!!!! How is that so??? Is it because I am able to spend more time doing the things I love?? Hanging out with my boys? Going on field trips? Scrapping???

Been hanging out with Alex a lot........he's off for the month! We relax in our pjs till late in the morning...go to the park...play games... every day he makes me laugh.

While we are home relaxing Evan still trudges off to school every morning....recently he went on a trip to the park and ran the mile in just over 7 minutes...came in 10th out of about 50 boys!!!! Boy, was he proud!!!!

I have been scrappin...A LOT!!! I have been helping a friend assemble custom scrapbooks for our area high schools. Her goal: 24 scrapbooks for 6 area schools!! YOU do the math!!!! Just today I finished a 20 page album and started a 2nd.....
