Deck the Halls......

The house is finally all decked out with holiday decorations...still a few more to put up but most is all out! We bought a new tree this year and I love it! It's so big and full...held all my ornaments! Don't remember last time all my ornaments fit on my tree! I love putting up the ornaments and remembering Christmas pasts and the memories of getting the ornament. I have a set of Raggedy Ann and Andy ornaments that were made for me back in 1973! It was fun while decorating for the boys to recognize their special ornaments.......which will one day hang upon the limbs of their own trees.

Packages are bought and wrapped....just waiting for that special day to open them up!!!! What will Santa bring me? An I-pod? The cuttlebug? Scrapbook stuff? Clothes??? While presents are okay, as long as I have my family around me, I have all I need.

Trying to get gifts finished.....calendars, tins, cards.....no matter how early I start I am always rushing at the end! Here's a page I recently did for Fred's calendar...love this photo of the 6 men in the family! 3 Generations....rare to have them all together! Putting this in a frame for Dave's parents also....actually found a frame that said "Generations". PERFECT!

Good friends...good times

What a wonderful time we had with our friends, Tim and Chrissie, while they were here for Dave's aunt and uncle's 50th anniversary party. We had so much fun goofing off and making memories Friday night in San Francisco. Then Saturday, riding around in a limo talking, laughing and having a few drinks!

Makes me wisht that they didn't live across the ocean!!!! There are times when we don't even talk to them for months at a time yet, when we get together it's like no time has passed since our last visit! After this visit with them, Dave and I decided that we will make a huge effort to save and take the boys to England for a few weeks in 2008.
